Mellow Cosmetics is a brand run out of New Zealand that sells lip, face and eye products consisting of lipsticks, blushes, eyeliners and eyeshadows. I browsed the site a bit before ordering and I decided to just try our the Lip Paint to see what I thought of the brand before binging.
I got this in the mail just in time for a night out in Atlantic City. I tried it on the second it came in and I was obsessed with the shade, it's perfect for fall!
This formula is really nice. I would say it feels like a mix between a lip stain and a liquid lipstick. This goes on quite dark and then fades to a lighter brownish/nude within 15-30 seconds, so definitely give it a little bit to set to it's actual color!
These days, the most important thing when it comes to lip color is the lasting power. I was excited I got to put this to the test immediately while out in AC.
This lasted alllllll night! I'm so happy with this product. It looked great through drinking and eating, which is no easy feat.
I definitely recommend checking out this brand! Even with it being international, I got this shipped to the US in 5 days! Carli also had a coupon code for 10% off (carlibel) which brought the total to around $20 with shipping, which isn't bad at all considering how much I love the formula.
